Second Place (Pebble Beach South). “TV” Tommy Ivo’s choice of the Classical Gasser as the NHRA Museums “Celebrity Pick” May '01. The Willys led a parade of cars, representing the NHRA Museum just before the final round at the 50th Winston Drag Racing Series Finals. In 2001, the car was featured in Street Rod Builder Magazine's "Best Of The Best" and won.

Bob's truck won Best in Class, Best Detail, Best in Show & Peoples Choice in '01 as well as winning at several local car shows and rod runs in Sothern California. In 2012, Bob took a Top 20 award at the NSRA Western Nationals in Bakersfield, California.

Best Truck Award at the '09 Early Rodders Show in Santa Anita. Best in Class (2x), Best Truck (2x), ISCA Award, Editors Award, Tremec Award, GM Award for Excellence (2x) & Best in Show (2x) at (2) different Super Chevy Shows with the same results. The first show was in Fontana, '09 & again in Las Vegas, '11. This is a really a 2-day event that is judged by a different sets judges both days. The truck won every award possible for both shows, both days.

First Place Winner in '99 for Vintage Racecar. (Pebble Beach South LeCercle Concourse de’Elegance) First Place (50th anniversary of the Grand National Roadster Show), The car was also shown at the '01 Oakland Street Rod & Custom Show (by special invitation only!) to be in the NHRA Nostalgia Racecars Section. This section honored 14 different pedigreed racecars spanning 50 years of the NHRA. The dragster took a First Place in Class & Second Place Overall.
